A Leader with a Heart for EPCOR’s Mission
When asked what excites her most about stepping into her new role, Brandie’s passion for EPCOR shines through. She shared, "After 17 years, EPCOR feels like home. The people, the mission and the impact we make on the payments industry are what truly excite me. I'm constantly inspired by our staff; they truly are experts in what they do and take great pride in creating actionable deliverables for our members. It's always been a dream of mine to lead an organization, and having the opportunity to take the helm at EPCOR to work alongside my fellow colleagues to serve our members is the icing on the cake."

Navigating the Challenges of a Rapidly Evolving Payments Industry
Brandie steps into her new role at a pivotal time in the payments industry. As technology and regulatory landscapes continue to shift, EPCOR’s members are facing an increasing array of challenges. " I feel like we say this every year, but it's an exciting time to be in payments as it's constantly evolving. For our members, it's about gaining on the competition by growing product offerings while balancing compliance requirements, risks and increased fraud," Brandie explains.
She acknowledges that many of these challenges stem from a lack of education or resources, making it difficult for members to stay ahead. Brandie is committed to positioning EPCOR as the trusted partner to guide members through these challenges. "Whether it be retiring staff, turnover, time constraints, it's challenging knowing what you need to know and when. Then, turning those need to knows into action plans. That's where we can step in by providing our members with timely information, resources and guidance to navigate these changes effectively. EPCOR will be investing in our internal resources from a staffing and technology perspective over the next year to do just that.”
Empowering the Workforce and Enhancing Services
One of Brandie’s core goals as President and CEO is to foster a culture of empowerment and innovation at EPCOR. "I believe in empowering our staff and creating a positive work culture. By investing in employee development and fostering a sense of ownership, we can achieve greater success together," Brandie notes.
Having served in various departments within EPCOR, Brandie is well-versed in the organization's history and its staff's unique strengths. This experience will inform her leadership style as she seeks to implement changes that will benefit both staff and members alike. "By creating a more engaged and empowered workforce, we can deliver better services to our members."
Passion for Payments and Her Family
Brandie’s passion for her work is palpable, but she also draws energy from her team and the changes they can make together. She shares, “I'm passionate about driving positive changes within EPCOR and the payments industry. I believe that EPCOR has the potential to make a significant impact on our members, and I am excited to be a part of that. I'm also energized by our team and their talents. Watching talented individuals take incubated ideas to market is always inspiring. That gets my juices flowing, celebrating those wins together.”
Personally, Brandie finds joy in her roles as a wife and mom. Her two children, ages five and seven, are at exciting stages in their lives, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. "Seeing them learn and develop relationships and try new things is awesome. I get to serve on the PTA board, volunteer at the school and help out with some of their other extracurricular activities. So far, they still think it's cool that I'm around. So, I'm going to milk it for as long as it will last!”
