Utilizing the Electronic Resource License

EPCOR has seen more members utilizing the Electronic Resource License this year to provide training and continuing education credits to staff. Once a financial institution has purchased the License, most members have staff set up their own user ID and password and purchase the necessary courses or the complete library at $0.00. Why put your staff through all that hassle?

Recently, Andrea Ricketts, Operations Compliance Officer/Auditor of Belgrade State Bank sent a listing of 36 employees to EPCOR stating they needed user ID’s and passwords set up for using the License. Member Services set up all the users/passwords within EPCOR’s database and coordinated with the Director of On-Demand Education to get all 36 employees’ access to the complete License. This made the setup process much easier for our member.

Andrea stated, “this made the process of getting employees set up much quicker and all I had to do was email each employee and state which courses I wanted them to complete and by what date. Also, having the curriculums broken down by payments system and job function made assigning courses easier as I didn’t have to decide which courses frontline needed versus my back-office department. I feel like our institution is taking full advantage of our License with EPCOR.”

As you can see, EPCOR can set up your users for your institution and get them access to certain courses, curriculums, or the complete Library in no time at all. If this is something you would like for EPCOR to set up for your institution users, please reach out to myself, Marcy Cauthon, at marcyc@epcor.org.

Happy learning!
