Position Title:          Senior Operations Manager

Our national, diverse base of both large and small merchants numbers over 30,000 strong.  We provide our merchants with integrated payment solutions and industry specific offerings across several industry verticals. As a founding member of the Third Party Payment Processors Association, our experienced leadership team has industry expertise to deliver results for our merchants.

We are seeking a Manager to drive execution in our implementation area by executing plans and delivering results.  If you are highly results driven, type A personality, this is the perfect position for you.  This role is critical to Payliance’s success and will play a key role on the management team.  

Responsibilities

Successfully manage the following areas of operations: Merchant Underwriting, Risk Management, New Merchant Implementation and Merchant Operations Management.  Lead the company’s ACH and ICL payment processing operations, and the implementation of clients across payments products.  This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Oversee new merchant underwriting and due diligence.
  • Oversee the ongoing risk management and monitoring of the company’s payment processing activities.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on rules and regulations affecting the company’s payment processing activities. 
  • Update policies, processes, and procedures to ensure compliance with banking industry regulations and guidance.
  • Manage and execute the timely onboarding and implementation of all clients across all payment offerings.
  • Manage relationships with internal Information Technology and Treasury departments to ensure successful execution of daily payment processing activities. 
  • Manage escalated merchant services issues related to the company’s payment processing activities.
  • Manage relationships with the company’s banks, processing partners and other vendors that support the company’s payment products.
  • Support product and sales teams during sales cycle by providing knowledge of implementation capabilities

 

Desired Skills and Experience

Requirements  

  • 6-8 years of Financial services or payment processing industry experience
  • 3-4 years of ACH processing experience with high volume ACH originator
  • Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) credentials preferred
  • Experience managing teams of 6 -8 FTEs
  • 1-2 years of merchant onboarding or technical integration experience 
  • Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications for merchant onboarding efforts
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to forge rapport with customers, partners, sales and internal staff
  • Strong creative problem solving and excellent follow up skills required
  • Outstanding communication and people skills required
  • Bachelor’s degree required
