NACHA is requesting comments on a proposal that would amend the ACH Rules to address certain "compliance/operational topics" in the Rules relating to:
1. The mandatory waiting period associated with Prenotification Entries;
2. Challenges related to the use of Change Code C04 (Incorrect Individual Name/Receiving Company Name); and
3. The alignment of the rules governing Reclamation Entries and Reversing Entries.
These proposed changes would clarify the Rules where appropriate, eliminate requirements that no longer add value to ACH Network users and improve ACH processing efficiency. Feedback is due by Friday, April 5, 2013.
